ImageTree Corp. Inks Lidar Licensing Deal with Blom Group, Europe’s Largest Collector, Processor of Map, Image Information

MORGANTOWN, W.Va., July 15, 2008 – ImageTree Corporation, the precision forestry company, has signed a 12-year agreement with Blom Group (Blom), the European leader in collection of geographic information, for North American licensing rights to Blom’s lidar technology.

 

Lidar, a remote-sensing system used to aerially collect topographic data, is a critical component of ImageTree’s ForestSense technology platform, which provides precise, timely and cost-effective forest inventory analysis, and enables assessment of carbon sequestration.
